Goodbye 2014, Hello 2015

January 2, 2015 by cassandrasines 5 Comments

I had never been so glad to see a year end as I was to see the year 2014 end and be able to switch the calender to 2015.  If only I was able to erase all the bad — actual horrible — memories from 2014 from my psyche that would be even better.  But God doesn’t allow that!  He uses those trials to grow us and make us stronger.  I used to think that the saying was “God wouldn’t give me anything that I couldn’t handle.”  But this last year I heard it differently and it is definitely true, because I was definitely NOT strong enough to handle what we went through.  Someone told me, “God will give you more than you can handle so that you MUST rely on Him.”

2014 was the most difficult, darkest, loneliest year for our family.  We went through losing three family members; Caleb having multiple surgeries, hospitalizations and medical issues; my needing to have major surgery, but not being able to do so because of all of Caleb’s medical issues.

I am so thankful for these two blessings as they are what helped get me through this difficult year — them, God and Tony!

We also had some wonderful friends that brought us some meals that helped us immensely at some low times!  I can’t thank them enough.

I’m looking forward to a much better 2015!

It really is mostly unattainable to come across well-aware women and men on this matter, still, you appear like you understand the things that you’re indicating! With Thanks
